The personal data we collect and how we use it:

Mercury Building Products Ltd collects personal data from you as part of the process in providing roofing materials to the construction industry. We need to obtain the personal data so that we can deliver the correct product(s) to the right location.

Therefore, the personal data we will require to provide an efficient service will be:

  • Position held within the company
  • Contact telephone number
  • Company Address
  • Delivery Address
  • Contact Name of the person in the accounts department
  • Email addresses of all parties included in the service process

All the personal data we process is processed by our staff in the UK and stored on servers located inside the European Economic Area (EEA). This is because some of our specific suppliers are based outside the UK and they provide certain roofing products. Therefore we have to share limited information with them:

  • Client Name and Number
  • Quantity of items required
  • Product description

All suppliers will collate the information required to fulfil the transaction that Mercury Building Products Ltd have agreed to within their agreement.

How long we keep your data.

We will keep your personal data for a number of purposes in order to allow us to carry out our business. Your information will be kept securely for up to 6 years following the date you cease to remain an active client, after which time it will be archived, deleted, or anonymised. If we must extend the length of time due to legal reasons we will inform you via email or letter (if requested).
